An Unbiased View of Health & Nutrition - MSU Extension
What do you believe other RDs should understand about BHN? Behavioral Health Nutrition is an emerging subject in not only the nutrition and dietetics neighborhood, but in health care at large. Learning how to incorporate emotional and mental health into our practice is necessary to providing ideal entire individual care. A little about me I'm fortunate to have been born and raised in a vibrant, varied, and progressive city south of Seattle called Renton.
From there, I went on to pursue my Master's of Public Health with a concentration in social justice and community education from Bastyr University in Kenmore, Washington. Lastly, I finished my dietetic internship with Lafayette General Health in Lafayette, Louisiana. Life has given me fantastic opportunities to live in various places like Louisiana, Oregon, and Washington where I've found out about the lots of methods one can experience the world.
I'm delighted to harness my abilities as a brand-new eating condition dietitian and continue to grow in the field.
